Natopiwo Projects
Over five years of operating, we have earned grants and received donations totaling ~ $100,000.00. With this money, we have accomplished the following projects, and we are growing still.
Education of youth
Natopiwo Preschool
Natopiwo Preschool is our flagship project. Five days a week, we provide pre-primary instruction to Maasai children ages 3-7. We also feed the children one meal a day
Economic empowerment
Maasai Women's Projects
The COVID-19 pandemic in Maasailand exponentially increased the already-difficult challenges of everyday life. Markets were shut down, and people were literally dying.
Education of youth
Higher Education Sponsorship
In 2021, we expanded Natopiwo support to include Maasai young adults who show promise in their higher education studies but who are otherwise unable to attend school.
Water
Monduli Juu Water Projects
In 2019-2020, Natopiwo installed a 5,000-liter water tank at the mill to harvest rainwater and to ensure that the Natopiwo Preschool will not runout of water for daily use.
